The lake and the land

The lake itself dates back to the seventeenth century and can be found on a map of that time – it may date back further but we are yet to discover any printed documents for this.

It is therefore a well established lake and for that reason we have tried our best not to change or disturb it.

All the banks surrounding the lake are low and are therefore easy accessible for both catching and returning the
