The lake itself dates back to the sevententh century and can be found on a map of that time – it may date back further but we are yet to discover any printed documents for this .

It is therefore a well established lake and for that reason we have tried our best not to change or disturb it .

All the banks surrounding the lake are low and are therefore easy accesible for both catching and returning the fish
