This area has so much to offer and what we tell you here is only part of it , the rest you will discover for yourself or if we have not mentioned a particular interest of yours please just ask and we will gather all the information required.

Just a five minute drive from your holiday home you will discover the lac de st pardoux which is a lake of over 33 kilometres in size and has three beaches with all facilities including hiring of boats / pedalos , children play areas , picnic areas , lovely sandy shores / large water slide / bars & restaurants . During the day these beaches have life guards and there is always something going on for the children from foam parties in the day to laser music shows at night .

If the beach is not for you why not escape to the city of limoges, it's only a 20 minute drive to the centre . Here you will discover the old culture of france mixed with the new . You can wonder down the old town through all the lanes and peer into the individual shops or have a coffee in one of the many café bars and just relax -you are on holiday after all! There are many tourist attractions in limoges including a large aquarium for the kids and a train which will take you on a guided tour of the city . You can eat in one of the restaurants along the river bank or take a journey through time by visiting the old cathedral . There is a large food market in the centre of the old town selling anything from cheese to fish and is definitely worth a visit .

If you are looking for more of an active holiday why not try horse riding which is available locally or hire some bikes ( see our extras ) and ride around the lac de st pardoux on the bike paths provided . There is also quad biking / ballon rides and of course beautiful country walks. The limosin region also has nine quality golf courses and information is available upon request.
